Create a workspace
Isolate dev, staging, and production under one organization.
Why workspaces
A workspace is an environment boundary below your organization. Connections, alert rules, backup policies, and members all belong to a workspace, so switching workspace re-scopes the entire console.
Create one
Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar → Create workspace. Give it a name and an environment type (development, staging, production, …). New organizations start with a Default workspace.
- Members can be confined to specific workspaces — even for direct by-id access.
- A member can hold a different role in different workspaces (e.g. DBA in staging, Viewer in production).
